ultra rare ESP disk!
Better than craked out over you, i suppose.
very nice track from 1981 Miami.
you will never see this record, so go ahead and laugh that it's cracked in three places.
killer r&b jam, but this one is cracked. oooof!
rare LaBeat demo! i will miss you. this was not a dupliacte copy.
worth more than most cars, but will actually last much longer.
one of the rarest revilot 45's; can somebody please find me a cracked copy?!
this one is pretty hard to find...
i love this shit
--notes: i know, tick is annoying on tobi lark, it's because it's badly cracked. september jones jumps once at the end because i stepped on my cat's tail and fell onto the turntables.
a little over 50% of these forgotten singles are from my home state of Michigan. i think we're lucky to live here, with all the fresh water and minerals. consider their extrordinary affects on these recordings, and many others. fresh water and minerals!
also, you had music in the schools, k through 12.
the huge influence of music in the church.
paul paray led the detroit symphony orchestra to high heights, and these players colored the background on many tracks.
as the center of the still thriving u.s. auto industry, engineering and tinkering also ran in our blood. the studios were advanced for their time, (or any other), and magic happend, and was beautifully and creatively captured.
and because of motown, many people saw their huge success, and wanted a shot. albums were more expensive to produce, but just to get our best song on a 45?
also, a third of these are promotional copies. i love it how the british say it. demos! i don't know if anyone really so much bought these records.

even rarer than the Tribe's lp's ~ and one of their hardest hitting sides. and on Scott Craig's massive Searching For Soul comp on Ubiquity. hats off to legendary drummer George Davidson!
all three sides associated with this one are a winner. they tried to push calling the former Cass Corridor "Mid Town" but it totally never happened.
got this single from his daughter. the Lamp Sisters turn out to be her aunts.
what's up with these weird stickers sometimes found on the master label?
some weird cover up conspiracy? i don't get it.
mick collins said i bet they're named after the street. does it gross you out when people call songs things like 'boogiers' on ebay? a mispronunciation could be deadly.
i like the steely dan cover the best, of course
impossibly rare k-zoo group, recorded at Uncle Dirty's Sound Machine, the same studio the Prepositions used.
Fantastic Four frontman out in front again, with help from JJ Barnes, and Hermon Weems.
hard to decide which side is better on this one.
Seems pretty unknown; same label as Spider Turner, 4 Hollidays, and Ster-phonics? Will put the other side up soon.
